Clio 172/182 Cup Racer Bilstein/RenaultSport Dampers For Sale – £750 a pair inc. Delivery
The dampers are the only used part of this kit – everything else is brand new and unused.

Following on from my earlier bits for sale thread, I am listing these two pairs of Bilstein Clio Cup Racer Dampers separately.
One set is from the earlier Clio Cup 172′s (Silver) and the second set were used on the later 172 and 182 Cup Racers, however they are identical as far as I am aware apart from the colour. The silver dampers are slightly different lengths due to them being the earlier design – I can’t tell you why this is – but obviously this is not an issue, as the ride height is adjusted using the srping platforms. New the dampers alone are about £170 each, springs £60 each and the ancillarys such as the bearings, and everything else are about £250 per damper – So you are looking at about £1000 for a pair of the dampers new.
They fit the standard car and are fabulous for anything on track orientated – I actually ran them on the road for ages, but I am a little more hardcore than most – they were perfect with the vehicle that I was running, and were well rated and damped.
The Clio Cup Racers run with “Clio Cup” Eibach Springs – but you could quite easily update/uprate these with the Eibach. In this range the Clio Cup C-400 spring is the softest rate that Eibach do, but, this range goes up in increments of 50lbs at about £65 per spring.
I am not really negociable on the price, as everything in terms of parts is brand new. If you would like to pay on Paypal – fine – but you must pay the charges.

Clio 182 Exhaust Information
RenaultSport Clio 182 Exhaust Systems
The RenaultSport Clio 182 followed the Megane RS and Clio V6 in having a twin exit tail pipe for the exhaust system. This became and identifying feature of the RenaultSport range. The twin tail pipe design is still present on the Clio 197 and the newly announced Clio 200.

Clio 182 Sports Exhaust Systems

YozzaSport Clio 182 Exhaust Backbox
YozzaSport Clio 182 sports exhaust systems have been market leading systems since their introduction to the RenaultSport tuning world in 2005. Since, they have been copied, replicated and as yes – not matched. Our 182 systems are designed and manufactured here in the UK.

YozzaSport Clio 182 Catback Exhaust
The exhaust system is designed to provide maximum power whilst still retaining the join to the standard catalytic convertor, retaining twin exit pipes as standard and to utilise the standard bumper exit points.
Peak power is raised by 4-6BHP and torque is increased over the whole rev range.

Clio 182 Race Exhaust Systems
YozzaSport offer a custom 182 race exhaust system, as the Catylitic Convertor is an odd size and it is best to design the system from the manifold back. Often we would recommend a single pipe rather than the two pipes as standard.
Orbisound and Supersprint also offer 182 systems intended for racing, however these are rather expensive.

Clio 182 Sport Catalytic Converters
Sports Catalytic convertors are not something that I like to recommend or to promote – basically as I don’t feel that they offer good value for money – they are massively expensive and on the 172 & 182 do not seem to offer an effective £/lb or £/bhp gain.
Clio 182 De-cat Pipes
A good power increase whether you are running a full 182 catback system or a standard renault exhaust system is to remove the cat and use a 182 decat pipe.
This article will be completed within the coming day or so.
Other Information That May Be Useful
With most 182 Catback systems you will be looking at a noise level of around about 90-93db. Once Decatted this can add about 3 or 4 db to the volume of the system.
Weight – the standard 182 system weighs 23kg, a YozzaSport system weighs just on 16kg, a saving of 7 kilos over the standard item. Other race systems are lighter, but these systems are obviously not intended for road use.

YozzaSport Clio 172/182 Headlight Covers
The RenaultSport Clio 172 & 182 Cup race cars do not have front headlights, instead they have perspex covers which replaces the headlight unit. The item has been unavailable from RenaultSport for the last few years, and purely by chance, we found a set of them whilst we were clearing out some old stock. So made moulds to enable us to provide customers with a light-weight carbon fibre replacement item.
The carbon fibre covers are 1 layer carbon, one layer fibreglass so are robust enough to cut to enable you to add ducting to an airbox or a cold air feed to the air filter.
Priced at £175 they are a solid and lightweight replacement to the now unavailable RenaultSport light covers.
They are suitable for both the Clio 172 and Clio 182 Cup Race Cars, most of which now run in the LMA Euro Saloons or other circuit series, however, they can be fitted to any Clio from 2001 with the pointed headlight design. Should you wish to purchase them, they are available through yozzasport or their distributors.
